The Southern Dairy Hub’s vision is to be an internationally recognised, innovative and leading centre of excellence for dairy farming, research, and extension. We’re looking for a Farm Manager to lead our farm team to realise this vision.
The farm was converted in 2017 and has a milking platform (including wintering) of nearly 300 ha. The Hub milks approximately 750 cows at Wallacetown, Invercargill.

What we are looking for
We’re looking for a farm manager with a proven track record of delivering excellent farm performance. Your strength will be cows and grass, but you’ll also share our commitment to best practice animal health, environment and people management. We’re looking for a strong communicator, with a “no surprises” approach and a commitment to driving physical and financial farm performance. You’ll be passionate about your team, with a history of successfully providing direction, empowering, motivating and coaching others to grow and achieve goals and objectives.
